In ‘This One’s For All The Sausage,” the new ebook short from Syracuse blog NunesMagician.com creator Sean Keeley, the Carrier Dome is hosting the 2014 Heitzman Sausage Bowl between the 6-6 New York State Emperors and 6-6 Western Ohio Warriors. With two minutes left in the game, it’s up to quarterback Matt “The Cannon” Buchanan to bring the coveted Golden Sausage Trophy home for NYSU and nothing is going to stop him.
A story about a college football player who was promised the world but ends up with only minutes of glory to call his own, the 34-page short “This One’s For All The Sausage,” which will be published on Amazon.com on December 16, follows in the footsteps of other zombie stories that aim to be about more than the bloody carnage that takes place. From his point of view, Buchanan works his way through a career that hasn’t quite panned out how he hoped while working his way through a never-ending onslaught of the undead.
This is Sean Keeley’s first published work since “How To Grow An Orange: The Right Way to Brainwash Your Child Into Becoming a Syracuse Fan.” As a longtime fan of zombies, it was only a matter of time before he stopped reading works such as World War Z or watching shows like The Walking Dead and created his own zombie story.
